I have never gone to the beach as much as I have on this trip. After the first couple of times, we have all noticed how dirty the beach can be. Yesterday, a couple of us went to the beach with bags in hand and started to clean up. By the end of the night, my biodegradable garbage bag was filled with cigarette butts. After cleaning, we were all very happy to be able to give back to Cadiz after everything it has done. We were even happier to eat ice cream afterwards.
Cleaning up is something easy we should all do more often.
